Over the years I have had the pleasure of working with friends and colleagues to help bring their charity events to life through design, from coast to coast bike rides, 10km runs, to summer carnivals.

Agden Against Alzheimer's
This event was the last of 94 undertaken by a colleague who's grandfather passed away aged 94, with Alzheimer's disease. The 'nearly 9km' run took place in Bradfield in the Peak District, and was fully inclusive with people of all ages and abilities running (or walking) the course.
The Logo

I took the elements of the logo from the course map around Agden Reservoir, the corporate red of SCX - one of the major sponsors of the event - and blue shades of the Alzheimer's Society logo.
The Event

I created a flyer to formally announce Agden Against Alzheimer's.
Registration for the event was immediately popular, and by race day, over 150 runners had signed up. |
Each runner received an Agden Against Alzheimer's t-shirt, and a medal, both featuring the event logo and all sponsor logos.
Race marshals were also supplied with neon yellow t-shirts, helping them to stand out against the May foliage. |

I designed an information booklet which was distributed digitally to all entrants. This contained a foreword by the event organiser, details about health and safety information, the course route, and details of prizes for winners and runners-up.
